The rural heartlands of Europe are facing unprecedented challenges. From the increasing threat of devastating wildfires exacerbated by climate change to the silent crisis of rural depopulation, our shared heritage requires a robust, coordinated defense.

The European Fire Prevention & Rural Preservation Organization (EFPRP) has long operated as a strategic command center. Today, we acknowledge that the scale of the threat demands a scaled response.

We are announcing the immediate initiation of Mobilization 2026, a strategic expansion designed to transform the EFPRP from a centralized headquarters into a pan-European operational force.

To achieve this, we are opening 62 strategic volunteer positions effective immediately. We are calling on Europe's most dedicated professionals, specialists, students and future leaders to step forward.

Building the Infrastructure of Resilience

This is not merely a hiring drive; it is the construction of a continental infrastructure capable of supporting rural communities from Portugal to Poland. We are tripling the size of our organization, staffing nine specialized departments to ensure operational readiness.

We are seeking talent in the following key sectors:

  • Command & Operations: Regional Incident Directors and Volunteer Coordinators to manage ground-level response and training.

  • The Digital Backbone: IT specialists, Web Developers, and Cybersecurity experts to build and defend our virtual command infrastructure.

  • Communications & Intelligence: Journalists, Social Media Managers, and Designers to control the narrative and educate the public.

  • Administration & Growth: Legal Analysts, HR Directors, and Grant Writers to ensure compliance and secure the funding necessary to save lives.

Investing in the Next Generation: A Call to Students

The fight for rural preservation will not be won in a single year. It requires a generational commitment. The EFPRP believes that the future of European leadership lies currently in its universities.

Therefore, we have made a decision to allocate 50% of our total force to the next generation.

Of the 62 open positions, 31 are designated as "Student & Internship Friendly."

We are not offering passive internships spent fetching coffee. We are offering command responsibility. We are inviting students of Law, Computer Science, Journalism, Human Resources, and Political Science to gain state-level NGO experience before they even graduate.

  • To the Law Student: Don't just study EU regulations; help a continental organization ensure compliance.

  • To the CompSci Student: Don't just code in a sandbox; build the digital infrastructure that coordinates fire prevention.

  • To the HR Student: Help us build the workforce that protects Europe.

Why Serve Europe?

The EFPRP is a volunteer corps. We ask for your time, your skill, and your passion. In return, we offer an unparalleled professional environment:

  1. Continental Scope: Gain experience working within a complex, international organization operating across European borders.

  2. Mentorship: Serve alongside experienced executive directors and senior specialists who are leaders in their fields.

  3. Flexibility: While our HQ is in Toulouse, France, the majority of these new roles are designed for remote operation, allowing you to serve from anywhere in the EU.

  4. The Mission: Go to sleep knowing your work directly contributes to preventing fires and preserving the cultural and environmental backbone of Europe.

The Time to Act is Now

The challenges facing rural Europe do not wait for convenient timing. Neither do we.

If you possess the skills we need and the dedication the continent deserves, we invite you to join our team.
