Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) serves as the principal technical authority and strategic architect across the organization's technological landscape. In this executive leadership capacity, you will oversee the IT & Digital Infrastructure Department (IT&DID), the Strategic Research & Data Analysis Department (SR&DAD), the Internal Support Division (ISD), and the Technological Development & Strategic Infrastructure Discovery Department (TC&SIDD)

You will define organizational technical standards, drive data-backed strategic research, guarantee robust cybersecurity and infrastructure integrity, and spearhead the discovery and deployment of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate operations across the IT & Digital Infrastructure Department, Strategic Research & Data Analysis Department, Internal Support Division, and TC&SIDD.
  • Oversee the deployment, scalability, and security of internal servers, cloud services, web applications, and network infrastructure.Qualify the customer needs
  • Steer data analysis pipelines, strategic research initiatives, and analytical frameworks to inform executive-level decision-making.
  • Lead the TC&SIDD in evaluating, prototyping, and integrating emerging platforms, automated workflows, and advanced tooling.
  • Enforce technical compliance with European data protection regulations (GDPR) and industry-standard security protocols.

Must Have

  • Proven leadership experience in technical direction, systems engineering, software development, or enterprise IT architecture.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms, server administration, containerized environments, and web application architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary technical teams spanning infrastructure, support, and data analytics.
  • In-depth understanding of information security best practices, data privacy laws (GDPR), and identity/access management.
  • Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and professional communication skills in English.
  • Legal residency within the European Union (EU).

Nice to have

  • Experience in nonprofit, public-interest, or cross-border European organizational structures.
  • Familiarity with modern microservices, automated CI/CD pipelines, and AI/RAG integration frameworks.
  • Hands-on background with administrative platforms (e.g., identity verification services, internal helpdesks, and directory integrations).
  • Working knowledge of French or other European languages (main English)
