EFPRP Regional Operations Director (Volunteer)

The EFPRP Regional Operations Director (Volunteer) plays a vital role in advancing the European Fire Prevention & Rural Preservation Organization’s mission across one of eight designated European Zones (EZ1-EZ8). 

This position involves working with local stakeholders, coordinating fire prevention efforts, and advocating for sustainable rural practices, ensuring a safer and greener future for European communities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community groups to implement programs.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the zone's progress and challenges.
  • Organize and lead fire prevention and rural preservation initiatives within the assigned zone.
  • Provide strategic input for regional and organizational development.

Must Have

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of fire prevention, rural preservation, or environmental management.
  • Perfect written and oral English, as well as perfect oral and written in the local language.
  • Organizational and project management skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in environmental advocacy or disaster management.
  • Familiarity with EU regulations and policies.
  • Multilingual abilities to engage diverse stakeholders.
