Human Resources & Recruitment Director (Volunteer)

The EFPRP seeks an experienced executive to serve as the Human Resources & Recruitment Director, the strategic head of our people operations. You will be the architect of our organizational culture, responsible for defining and upholding the values that make the EFPRP a premier institution. 

Your mandate is to ensure that we attract, develop, and retain the absolute best talent across Europe. You will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Board, translating our humanitarian objectives into robust workforce strategies that ensure the long-term stability, compliance, and excellence of our human capital.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Advise the CEO and Board on organizational structure and succession planning.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process for senior roles.
  • Manage benefits, and performance appraisal systems.
  • Ensure strict legal compliance with European labor laws and regulations.
  • Cultivate a positive, high-performance working environment.
  • Handle high-level employee relations issues and sensitive negotiations.

Must Have

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and diplomatic skills.
  • Experience managing remote or international teams.
  • High emotional intelligence and absolute discretion.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the non-profit sector.
  • HR Certification (SHRM, CIPD, etc.).
  • Multilingual abilities.
