The European Fire Prevention & Rural Preservation Organization (EFPRP) is pleased to announce two major milestones in our ongoing technical and operational development: the official launch of the EFPRP TrueID Verification app on Android via the Google Play Store, alongside the deployment of Version 2.1.0 of the EFPRP Wildfire Surveillance & Alert Hub (WSAH) application.
Strengthening Institutional Integrity: EFPRP TrueID Verification
As our field presence and cross-border initiatives expand, ensuring identity verification and credential authentication is one of our top priorities. The newly released EFPRP TrueID Verification application provides a secure platform allowing partners, regional authorities, and operational personnel to authenticate official credentials instantaneously, from their smartphone - as previously, this tool was exclusively available on the web-app (verify.efprp.org).
Regional Precision: EFPRP WSAH Version 2.1.0
Complementing this release is the 2.1.0 update to the flagship EFPRP WSAH application, engineered to deliver granularity and customization in regional environmental monitoring and emergency response.
WSAH 2.1.0 integrates the European Union’s Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) framework across NUTS 1, NUTS 2, and NUTS 3 levels. This implementation allows users to tailor their situational awareness with surgical precision:
NUTS 1, 2, and 3 Territorial Filtering: Users may now subscribe directly to specific administrative territories, ranging from broad major socio-economic regions down to small local provinces and districts, ensuring that information delivery is tightly focused on relevant sectors.
Critical-Alert Only Modes: A streamlined subscription tier engineered for emergency personnel and institutional monitors who require notifications strictly during severe escalation thresholds, significantly minimizing notification fatigue.
Beyond the mobile experience, we are significantly expanding our data accessibility for institutional partners. The WSAH backend payload now officially supports a CAP 2.1 (Common Alerting Protocol) XML feed.
These updates reflect the EFPRP’s dedication to protecting European rural ecosystems through modern, data-driven tools, additional to our field operations. Both applications are accessible immediately, empowering our personnel, stakeholders, and communities with faster verification and actionable situational intelligence.
